Do Senior pastors Fight Junior(Assistant) Pastors
Have you ever heard a pastor who left a particular ministry or seek for a transfer to another branch of same church say the reason he left/transferred is because the senior pastor is working against him?
Often times, you hear from young pastors(assistants) logically complaining that the senior pastors is fighting them or trying to subdue them so that they(the juniors) would not outshine them(the seniors). The starting pastors atimes claim that the old pastors do stop the flow of the spirit so that people would not value/reverence them more than the main pastor of the church. Is this really true? Is the idea or sense a competition among the reflection of the anointing?. Do senior pastors fight junior pastors?
Referencing a university, assuming a Physics lecturer were allocated one hour(lets say 10-11am) to lecture, and a Mathematics lecturer is allocated one hour(11:05-12:05pm) to lecture. The Physics lecturer starts lecturing and exceeds 11am by 5 mins meaning he is still lecturing by 11:05am, then the Mathematics lecturer entered the class and timed up the Physics lecturer, would the Physics lecturer say the Mathematics lecturer is fighting him or preventing him to show his intelligence?; no never, a qualified lecturer would never even feel bad talkmore of saying that the other lecturer is fighting him.
Bringing a family into our analogy, let us assume that in a extended family meeting, your father gave you about 20mins to air your opinion, you exceeds your time limit, he then stops you from further speaking. Would you feel your father us fighting you talk-more of saying it?
If “no, never” is the answers to the two analogies above, why would a pastor who by design system, knows more of the things of the spirit feel the senior is fighting him?. Whatever move of the spirit you want to manifest would be within the confines of your time frame. And let me tell you growing minister, having the mindset that the senior pastor is fighting you is a sign of carnality in you, go for a personal retreat.
Assuming you are demonstrating the move of the spirit within your time peripheral and the senior pastor still stops you. Instead of feeling bad or bearing grudge, why not go and meet him and ask hime why he does such, then find out. What should you do if he is really fighting you? Do you remember what king David said about Saul? …Who can raise his hands against the anointed and still be innocent…
Remember that by the reason of divine calling, that the senior pastor is anointed, if you fight him back or strife/bear grudge against him, then you aren’t innocent also
Anyone that is fighting the move of God through you is fighting God himself. Allow God fight his fight, God is too powerful to be fought for.
What Should You Do If The Senior Pastor is Fighting you? This is a topic for next weekend. Stay active, stay illuminated.

Wow…God should fight for us
I haven’t actually thought about the fact that something like this might be going on between pastors…..wow!
From what I’ve seen, it’s the junior pastors that fight and go against the senior pastors
Well, I concur with your analogy. Thanks bro
