This is pretty much the most important aspect of “Be A Daniel Series”, so pay as much attention as you can. This article is an episode of Daniel series, for a better assimilation, read the prior series in the links below:
The Bible, in Matthew 7:7 told us to “Ask, and it shall be given…” This simple means we cannot receive anything unless we ask, and the only way to ask God for anything is through our prayers. Daniel knew this and he explored this privilege to it’s full potential.
Daniel 1:9 reads: “Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of enuches.” You are probably asking yourself what this scripture has to do with praying right? Well if the Bible made it clear to us that in order to receive, we have to ask first, doesn’t it seem weird for God to just bless Daniel with favor and tender love just like that?
It is quite obvious that Daniel prayed to receive such favor. He knew the risk he was getting himself into and told God about it. Imagine if the enuches had flared up at his request! On a normal day, the possibility of the enuches flaring up would be 100%. However, when he took the matter to God, things became easy for him. God entered the equation and solved it himself! This shows that the power of prayer can never be over emphasized.
There are other scriptures where Daniel prayed but I picked this particular one because most Christians do not see this fact. A miracle happened in that scripture! Miracles don’t just happen out of the blue; you have to ask for it via prayers!
On this note, I implore us to pray as much as we can; to pray in all situations because that is the only medium by which we can let God know that we are in need of help. The amazing part is that absolutely anyone can pray to God and get answers, not just Christians! What else are you waiting for???
